A word from Bonnie and Beth, the 'The Garden Gnomes' costume creators:
There are GNOME worries when Phoenix and Gryphon are dressed up as friendly garden gnomes. Gryphon the gnome is relaxing atop a giant flower, while Phoenix the gnome is ready to water the flowers with a watering can.
The giant flower with the gnome sitting on top is a home-made illusion costume, with flower petals made from foamboard covered with pink fabric, and the flower center made from spray foam painted yellow. A hole was cut in the center, so that Gryphon could wear it over his head, with fake legs perched on top.
