Phoenix and Gryphon the Rainbow Fairies

Do you ever wonder how a rainbow gets it’s colors? Phoenix and Gryphon are the rainbow fairies, who sit atop the rainbow and paint on the colors with paintbrushes.

The costumes were put together with rainbow accessories of all kinds. This included paint drip rainbow shirts, which were then attached to rainbow tutu skirts. Blue and purple gloves and rainbow tights were stuffed and attached to the ends, to create fake arms and legs for the fairies. The legs were finished off with rainbow shoes. Paintbrushes and mini pails were attached to the gloves to make it look like the dogs were painting. The costumes also included rainbow wigs, rainbow wings, and rainbow crowns. The rainbow itself was hand-made from pool noodles hot glued together, and the clouds were made with poly-fil stuffing.
