Pin Head Costume

I made the costume out of scrap material. The make up was a different story. I took plastic q-tips and sparyed them grey. I then cut them in half and melted each end so I would have a flat surface to glue to his head and the other flat end to look like the end of a nail driven into his head. We did a dry run with the makeup and the bald cap and just testing the liquid latex gluing the nails to his head and it was taking quit I while so I ask my son did he want to not do it and I would run get something else and he said no. So halloween he got off the school bus and we began. I had snacks brought to him and he sat for 3 hours while I did his head and makeup. I could not ask for a better client. He sat perfectly still. After all the attention he received that night he told me I was the best mom in the world for spending as much time as I did on his costume. This was a 7 yr old boy saying this which of coarse as the mom that was all I needed to hear and do it over again every yr.
