Pineapple Psych Logo Costume

I love pineapples, and was amused by the "spot the pineapple" gag on the (now cancelled) television show, Psych. We still have Psych marathon parties, so a pineapple costume was bound to happen. I painted a piece of fabric to look like the outside of a pineapple, and then I stuffed it and sewed it onto a base garment for my dog, Goblin. The headpiece is just a plastic plant from the craft store that I stuck through a small piece of foam, covered in fabric, sewed to a dollar store headband, and covered with decorative ribbon, to hide the stitching. The removable "Psych" lettering is just cut from a piece of art foamboard I had from a costume I made years ago. This can be removed when she's not at a Psych party and just wants to dress as a pineapple. The costume is very lightweight and cost less than $12 to make. It's such a simple costume, but peoples' reactions to it have been overwhelming. We tweeted the costume to some of the actors from the show, and one of the stars really liked it! That was extremely exciting.
