Pink Poodle Costume

I found the inspiration for my pink poodle costume from a vintage photo online. This costume itself was not very difficult to make, albeit just time consuming! It took a lot of hot glue, a couple extra wigs I cut up and used for the "fur," scrap fabric for the fur cuffs as well as the tail, which was sewn on to the shorts and held up with the help of clear beading string. I bought a pink puppy dog collar on Amazon and bedazzled it with crystals for some extra sparkle ;) I dyed the tights to match the brighter pink shade of the makeup I used on my upper body and was lucky the two matched almost perfectly! I styled the wig with the help of hot glue and some blinged out pink ribbon bows. I had such a great time wearing this costume at work (I am a bartender) and had people flashing photos all night, haha! It will definitely be a hard look to top! Until next year :)
