Pinocchio Dog Costume

Caiden, a miniature pinscher, is wearing this "Pinocchio", or in his case, "PUPocchio" costume! I came up with the idea because I believe he kind of looks like a wooden doll (because he's brown) and his personality is just like Pinocchio. He really does think he is a REAL boy!

How to Instructions:

I first bought a yellow baby shirt and a pair of red baby pants. I took some of the fabric from the pants to make the suspenders. Then I added some yellow buttons and used felt and gold trim to make the decoration on the side of the pants. I used black felt to make the vest and I sewed gold trim onto that. I also used felt to make the bow and the hat (with a little red feather at the top too). To make the marionette, I bought the jimney cricket doll and attached it to two paint can stirrers. Then I strung through gold string and attached it to the costume (2 at shoulder, 2 at hips). The theatre behind him is a puppet theatre toy that I had.
