Pinocchio Costume

I made this costume for my son matthew. Almost every year I make his costume. I enjoy being creative & making him a totally different costume. I made the red shorts out of a fabric bag they sell at the 99 cents store. The suspenders are the handles of the bag & glued 2 buttons at the end. I cut out the bottom part of the bag & sewed between for his legs. I used a regular yellow t-shirt for underneath, a smaller black t-shirt & cut out a vest shape & sewed the ends underneath with yellow string, plain white fabric around the top cut out the shape and sewed the ends underneath, the blue bow is a baby shirt held in the middle by a blue string. The hat was made from paper mache, i boil the water and slowly pour flour and mix let it cool off made the hat shape with newspaper added the glue let it dry painted the hat added a blue ribbon around it & glued a red feather
