This homemade costume for girls entered our 2015 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Glenda, the 'Pippi Longstocking' costume creator:
My daughter is wearing the costume and is also where I got the idea. Mostly this is just a matter of throwing together mismatched outfit. I did cut up old clothing and glued patches on the skirt. For her hair I braided it with floral wire in each strand and then just bent them into shape giving her the gravity defying hair do.
