PJ Masks Family Costume

Best Family Costume Submission:

Our youngest son loves the PJ masks so we dressed as the characters from the show.
Son: Bryson as Catboy!(blue)
Son: Ty as Gekko! (green)
Daughter: Kelsey as Owlette! (red)
Mom: Jen as Luna Girl!
Dad: Eric as Romeo!

Catboy and Gekko were store bought. Owlette was handmade as follows:

Red pants ($4), Red long sleeve shirt ($5), 1" pink ribbon glued down side of pants ($2), Red and Pink cotton fabric ($8). Total= $ 19
For shirt, drew, cut, and glue the Owlette emblem.
For the wings, drew and cut the fabric to right size, glued pink fabric on the red for design. Sewed elastic across the length of the wings forming a small loop at the ends for her fingers to go in creating the flying effect when she lifts her arms. Cut another small retangle piece of fabric for the neck to hold on like a cape, hand sewn on each side.
For mask, cut a piece of cardboard into the shape. Glued red fabric (same from wings), onto the cardboard. Cut out the eyes and drew the design with sharpie. Glued pink ribbon to finish it. Also, made small holes on the sides and tied on elastic to go around the back of her head to hold it on.

Romeo and Luna girl handmade:
Romeo: black boots (owned), teal sweatpants ($8), long white lab coat ($12), goggles ($5), black and white hair spray ($2 each = $4). Total = $29.
Used black duct tape for design on the lab coat. Everything else just put together.

Luna Girl: black boots, grey leggings and long sleeved grey shirt (all owned), black shirt from thrift store cut "V" shape in front and back ($4), beige silky fabric used for emblem glued to shirt ($2), black mask ($1), grey wig ($12). Total= $19.

Together we create the PJ Masks and 2 Villans from the show!
