This homemade costume for women entered our 2013 Halloween Costume Contest.

Every year we have a fundraiser here in Anchorage, called the Pirate Pub Crawl to earn money for the Blood Bank of Alaska. I just couldn't stomach trying to be one of the 150 pirate wenches. I had a pirate and I was sitting there telling him that he needed a parrot on his shoulder. We both just started laughing and it was pretty obvious what I needed to do. It was a hit! All the pirates wanted their photo taken with me!
