This homemade costume for girls entered our 2017 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Stephanie, the 'Poor Yorick's Daughter' costume creator:
Madeline, aged 5, is wearing a slightly modified pirate princess costume that also evokes the Elizabethan sensibility. An early love for Shakespeare (and all things morose) gave Madeline the idea of posing as Poor Yorick's daughter, not featured in the play Hamlet, of course!
