Princess Jasmine & Aladdin Costume

I have always wanted to be princess Jasmine, but every time I looked online at available Jasmine costumes, they were all terribly inaccurate. I can't stand dressing "like a character except not quite because nobody makes the costume right." lol. So I decided this year to bite the bullet and make my own. I made the poor choice of waiting until 2 days before halloween to do so, but thanks to the patient help of my boyfriend (seen as aladdin). He even learned how to use a sewing machine just for this. His costume was purchased in pieces online (none of it came together or was even meant to be a costume.) The costumes turned out fantastic though, and people came up to us all night long to take pictures and comment on them :) (no how-to included, because I really don't have sewing skills. I simply wrapped a cloth around myself and started sticking pins in it, and then followed up with the sewing machine)
