This homemade costume for girls entered our 2016 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Roxanne, the 'Princess Warrior' costume creator:
My 10yoa granddaughter Debjioux is hanging with 10yoa Daphne, (my one dog that doesn't mind costumes) and 12yoa Sweetie.
I bought the kid size shields, swords, cape and face mask. The cape wasn't large enough so I cut it in half and added a strip of material to make it fit. The sword and shield were too large for Daphne and Sweetie, so I cut them smaller. I added jewels, sequins and glitter to make them girly...The chainmaille is made with soda tabs. I just used wire to put them together. I got the idea from Xena, Princess Warrior.
