This homemade costume for pets entered our 2014 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Julie, the 'Queen' costume creator:
I was trying to come up with a costume idea that was low cost, and also creative. I decided to take an old velvet top and turn it into a royal robe. Purple robes say royalty. I pinned it around her, added a tiara, costume jewelry, and a royal scepter. After all, my dog Sophie definitely thinks she is the queen. She might also be a little bit spoiled! :-)
