This homemade costume for families entered our 2020 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Anne, the 'Queen of England' costume creator:
We dressed our 1.5 yr daughter as Queen Elizabeth and we went as her royal guards. Her coat is an altered coat for a much older child. I sewed on the buttons and also dyed the hat. Our hats are made from cereal boxes with fur glued on. I found a red blazer and a red bath robe that I sewed buttons onto and used felt for all the detailing. I became well acquainted with the button foot on my sewing machine!
