This homemade costume for girls entered our 2015 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Justine, the 'Queen of Hearts' costume creator:
My 7 year old daughter Veda, wearing the Queen of Hearts costume that I made.
Her dress was an old Christmas dress, with a black sweater, and a whit shall with some felt hearts stapled on it.
Her collar was cards stapled onto art foam paper(flexible) with a ribbon on the ends for tying.
He head piece/ hair is a read cut t-shirt ( cut 2 pieces into half hearts) sewed into a ribbon headband. Then stuffed with stuffing and sewed flower petals onto it. Then a foam crown sewn on top.( also attached ribbon to the ends to help stabilize it.)
