Racing Sausage Costume

My son is a huge Brewers fan. The past years he has been Ryan Braun, Bernie brewer, and Jonathan Lucroy. This year, he really wanted to be a racing sausage. I looked where to buy one to no prevail, so designed and made it on our own. I used 1 inch foam for the lining and then glued on the felt. My son, who is 8, helped glue on the stripes, mouth and eyes. The head was a little top heavy after we put the hat on, so I put another layer of foam in the top section. I the hand stitched the back and hat on. It worked out great, he got so many compliments and was so proud and it was really warm for Wisconsin trick or treating.
