A word from Christopher, the 'RadioHead' costume creator:
It's a RadioHead - the 'eyes' are real speakers, and they actually work! I string a cable from the box through the inside of my jacket to an iPod in my pocket, so I can DJ and play whatever the crowd might like. On Halloween, that was pretty much just Thriller all night. :) I built the box out of wood, and added all the stereo components (battery, amp, and speakers), and wired it all up. There's a helmet mounted inside to keep it securely attached to my head. I also put a fan in the top to keep my head cool - it gets hot in there! The mouth and area between the speakers are screens, so I can see out (and breathe!), but nobody can see in. The whole thing cost around $250 including all the stereo components. The suit and was $20 from GoodWill.
