This homemade costume for women entered our 2013 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Keirsten, the 'Ragdoll' costume creator:
It is personally me wearing the costume, I got the general idea from having fixed features, simple yet difficult to get together.
The dress is a sundress I had for years. I hand sewed the frill along the bottom (which was originally curtains), as well as a few patches. The rest of the patches we sown on by way of machine.
I used Fleet Street blood, using a q-tip to drip it and run down my face. I put in 'black out' sclera lenses, and used actual yarn for the face.
All accessories applied to my skin was by way of the fake blood, which is slightly adhesive.
The overall cost for this costume was around $100.
