This homemade costume for kids entered our 2017 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Rebecca, the 'Rainbow Brite & her sidekick Twink' costume creator:
My children, Avery and Jonathan, are wearing these homemade costumes, created using the Rainbow Brite and Twink patterns. When I was a little girl, Rainbow Brite was my favorite cartoon character and my mother made me this costume, that my daughter is now wearing 30 years later. My son is her sidekick, Twink, a costume that my mother also made to match the “vintage” costume.
