Rapunzel and Flynn Rider Costume

This is me and my friend Josh. For Rupunzel dress I used a purple dress I had from a ballet recital when I was probably 12. I stitched pink ribbon for the "x's up the front and tied a thick dark pink ribbon around my waist. For the Hair I found a long blonde wig at DI because I didn't want to buy some expensive hairpiece. The wig I bought was kind of balding so I turned it upside down and braided it. I glued in little flowers that I also found from DI for the Rupunzel look.

For Flynn Josh took a women's jacket and cut the sleeves off and cut out the neck. He tacked up the shoulders with gold brads and fastened the middle with black duct tape. For his boots he wore cowboy boots and then sewed a brown strip of leather together and tucked it into the tops of them so it folded over. Under that he just wore a white button up shirt and kakis. He also wore a couple of big brown bets he found at DI and carried around a frying pan for added effect.
