A word from Heather, the 'Raven Queen' costume creator:
Heather Quaid Raven Queen from Everafter High. I made the top from a tank top pattern. I made all the sequins from All soap packages I covered each one in purple duct tape and then cut the into shapes I hand sewed them on. I then covered the top with purple tulle. The pants I altered from a 2x to a size 9. To finish the look I made boot covers. My cape took 4 days to finish because I hand painted the design. I add the collar it is made from craft foam I attached it with snaps. The feather pieces that holds the cape on front is made from duck feathers from my pet ducks,I spray painted them purple and glued them on to craft foam and added a pin to hold it on. The pin is made from earrings and pieces of necklaces. I also made my earrings from plastic place mat, earring studs, I glue gem on. The crown is made from a stryofoam ball I cut I add a lego gem on the top and a button to cover the hole in the top. I added necklace pieces, craft foam, gems I painted purple, the side pieces are soft foam, I wrapped in thread. The purse is made from a Xmas decoration I cut in half and added a zipper, then glue on all the beads and add a strap. The wig I added purple hair pieces and styled the wig. My purple flame are made from a 2 liter soda bottled I heated it with a heat gun and painted it purple an added elastic band to hold it on my hand
