This homemade costume for men entered our 2018 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Brandon, the 'Real Steel Gothic Knight' costume creator:
I'm wearing full plate armor made of 14-18 gauge steel, with 16 gauge steel chainmail underneath. This is armor I have actively fought in, and have even competed in sword tournaments using. The chainmail is tailored to my exact body, via extensive modifications, and the helmet and tassets were reshaped. The sword is a Game of Thrones replica of Oathkeeper, also made of real steel.
