Red Baron Costume

This is Baron, my siberian husky, as the Red Baron airplane! I thought the costume idea was suiting due to the origin of his name. This costume was constructed mostly from cardboard with the help of hot glue, zip ties, and a few wooden dowels for wing support. Gave it a red and black spray paint job. Black and white felt for the cross symbols on the wings and body, but also a stenciled on cross on the tail section. The trick to keep the wings on Baron's body was a red harness with lots of zip tie support. Total cost was approximately ~$20 and 4-5 hours of crafting. Baron tolerates the costume pretty well, except it's hard to avoid obstacles in the house with that wing span!
