This homemade costume for adults entered our 2022 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Jessica, the 'Red Death' costume creator:
This is my 2021 Halloween costume, titled "Red Death." It is based on the mysterious masked figure (Red Death) featured in Edgar Allan Poe's short story "The Masque of the Red Death." I enhanced the skeleton face prosthetic by applying wispy strands of red yarn, as well as paint and coagulated fake blood.
