This homemade costume for kids entered our 2019 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Bayani, the 'Red Transformer' costume creator:
Red Transformer is the first of the two transformer costumes that I made this year. This costume was custom made for my daughter Blessy Alkuino. The idea came from youtube channel "transformerkids"... It is a 4 part video showing the step by step way of creating a bumblebee costume out of paint mixing stick, used card board, insulation foam, glue stick, all purpose blade, lots and lots of time, and lots and lots of LOVE. Even though I am already following the steps on video and no longer have to analyze a lot though I have to some times, still I spent 4 days straight on the body and 1 day on the helmet.
So it is a costume that can transform into a robot and transform again into a Chevrolet Camaro car. And lastly, my kids had a blast during Halloween as everywhere they go they were the star of the moment.
