This homemade costume for couples entered our 2020 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Britt, the 'Ride that Rollercoaster' costume creator:
Roller coaster ride costume... worn by myself, Britt Geiger and husband Greg Geiger. We love Halloween and store bought costumes are never an option, we like to think our side the box. This costume was our best yet as we learned it was interactive, we rode this ride all night! The costume is made of heavy duty cardboard, zip ties, duct tape, PVC pipe, spray paint and old clothes/shoes. I would estimate about 9 hours to make and under $125.
Bee Transformer costume is worn by my 9 year old son Jackson Geiger. He too had gotten into wanting homemade costumes. Jackson wanted to be a transformer “that really transform!” So like with the roller coaster ride we spent 6 hours, $42 and duct tape, foam board, zip ties and spray paint.
Just to share how much we love Halloween and making our costumes I have also attached a picture of my son Jackson’s costume from last year... he wanted to be in an outhouse while being abducted by an alien!
