Rock Climber and Wall Costume

This year my son wanted to go as a rock climber. For him, we already had the rock climbing harness, helmet, elbow and knee pads. I bought a cheap rope from Walmart, cut a piece long enough for him and the top of the wall. The rest of the rope I just wrapped around his shoulders. For the wall, I just measured how tall I wanted it and made a frame from 1/2” pvc pipe. Once I had a frame, I spray painted foam poster board and duck tapped it to the pvc frame. I figured out where my head would be and cut a head hole out. For the rocks, I got styrofoam from the fake flower section at Walmart. I broke the styrofoam up, shaved each piece into a rock shape, then painted them. Didn’t take long to make and my son loved it. Thanks for looking!
