Rooster Costume

My son 3 year old son, Liam, is wearing this costume. I love homemade costumes, and wanted to continue the tradition this year. Someday he's not going to let me make these cute costumes anymore, so I'm trying to get it in while I can. I originally wanted to make him a plain white Chicken. But he's a boy and a whole lotta of ornery and crazy! So I thought a more colorful rooster costume would suit him better! I sewed to black shirts together at the neckline, stuffed them with batting, then sewed them shut at the bottom. I then attached feather boas with thread and some with safety pins. His rooster Mohawk and beak are made of felt, and his feet are yellow rubber gloves with the fingers stuffed, and his shoes inserted into a cut.
