Royals Salvy Splash Costume

My 11 year old son, Reese, came up with this idea. He loves Royals baseball and after every winning game, Salvador Perez dumps the gatorade bucket over the head of the MVP of the game. Reese loves this moment and wanted to capture it in his costume.

We built a frame on the back of his wheelchair to hold the gatorade bucket in just the right position. Then we pinned streamer pieces to a Royals jersey and hat. We filled the gatorade jug with streamer pieces as well to make it look like the gatorade was pouring all over my son. Reese picked his favorite players to have featured on his wheel covers and then we added the 2015 Royals World Series Champs flag to the top.

Reese loved his creation and enjoyed showing it off at school and other events this Halloween.
