Sally from Nightmare Before Christmas Costume

This is me - I am 15 years old. Sally from Nightmare Before Christmas is one of my favorite movie characters. i made this dress completely from scratch. I cut pieces of scrap fabric that I collected from garage sales and pinned them on a mannequin. Then I sewed it together inside out, and hand stitched some parts. The black "stitches" and stripes are made from little pieces of duct tape, the swirly designs and big polka dots are fabric paint. I painted my whole body blue and did all my own makeup. The wig is from ebay. Overall this costume only cost about 20 bucks to make the dress, the wig was about $30. the socks and shoes I already had. Oh and the makeup was about ten bucks.
