Sarah Sanders and The Red Hen Costume

Our little town caught some political heat and we decided to have a little fun with the idea. The Red Hen was made using a tunic dress and then individual fabric pieces attached creating a dimensional look, the feet and hands (gloves) were made with some sewing skills from years ago and the mask was enhanced with the beak and red felt. Sarah didn’t need a lot so she wasn’t as time consuming. Halloween and dressing up has been a tradition for years. Our Halloween changed two years ago when our nephew was killed in a car accident and in his honor and love for Halloween we want to keep the tradition going!
