This homemade costume for babies entered our 2014 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Cindy, the 'Two Little Scarecrows' costume creator:
These are my 2 year old twins in their home made Scarecrow costumes. I found 2nd hand overalls and sewed on fall themed quilting squares as the patches. I used rafia in the pockets as straw. I glued a little ribbon on the front for an added touch. I also sewed extra fabric on the bottom as the overalls were a little short for my girls' long legs. A friend of mine made the bows using the rafia for a finishing touch!
These were fairly inexpensive to make ( a MUST with twins!) and everyone went crazy over them! I wanted them to have adorable costumes that are as unique as they are!
