The person that’s wearing the costume would be me. I got the idea from the purge. In 2016, my friends and I had an idea to do purge costumes and wear matching scary bunny mask’. That night was amazing! So in 2017 I wanted to another purge costume because I’m obsessed with the franchise, but it was last minute so I just decided to be a... crow? Black angel? Idk all I did was buy some black feathered wings on Halloween day. This year I wanted to redeem myself. So I decided to make my own purge outfit. I wanted to murder in style. So I drew out how I wanted my whole outfit to look, piece by piece. It took only two weeks to fully finish designing the outfit and mask. Now with only one month and a half till Halloween, I got right on it, working as hard as I can. Using the only time I had after coming home from my full time job. I haven’t done anything like this before, so this was my first time. Just thinking about what materials I needed, stressed me out. But after walking around Joann’s and Hobby lobby for a couple hours each, I got all the supplies I need for the mask. All I needed was the rest of the outfit. I was going to sew the clothes but I’m only a beginner on the sewing machine and with little time, I decided to buy the clothes at the mall. The accessories were easy, but expensive. All I had to do was look in Home Depot and Amazon. I didn’t really pay attention to how much the final total came out to, until today (After Halloween). The whole outfit (clothes and accessories - not the tools I got to make it) came out to 560 dollars.. oh! and .14 cents, can’t forget about that. I’m honestly speechless but I still have no regrets because I’m very proud of myself for being able to make a homemade costume. I never thought I had the ability to draw something on paper and make it come to life. His name is Scorpio because I was born in November and I read someplace that most murderers were born in November. :) lol
