Scrooge McDuck Costume

I decided to go as one of my favorite video game characters of all time, Scrooge McDuck from the NES DuckTales game. Recognizing it was based off a popular '80s cartoon that I also watched growing up, I wanted to give this costume a whirl.

I purchased a navy blue lab coat that I work over knee high orange athletic socks and swimming flippers to simulate the feet. A cut and painted softball cap I wore over my neck overlooking a open-faced white hood stocking completed the lower part of the face. Store bought generic red spats and ribbon for the arm cuffs were added. The ears were pretty much Halloween Women's Bunny tails that were individually purchased and super glued onto the sides of the softball cap I used for my duck bill

Using a white half Halloween mask, I cut the bottom part off and painted the eye area a cartoon eye looking light baby blue and wore a top hat, toy cane and other props like a fake gold map and dollar store tiara as accessories.
