Sinbad and Proteus Costume

My dog Kalin lost an eye this year so it was the perfect time to see how he looked as a pirate. I chose one of my favorite movies, Sinbad Legend of the Seven Seas as inspiration, because the shape of the sails reminded me of dragon wings and was a more elegant pirate ship style. My dog Kalin is Sinbad the pirate and I am his best friend Proteus. I made the cardboard pirate ship with recycled cardboard (it took a month to build) and lots of hot glue. I sewed my dogs costume and made my costume as well (I sewed my sash and belt and found clothes and a coat to match Proteus’ style.)
