Slender Man Costume

My husband is wearing this costume. This costume was inspired by Slender Man, the creepy mythical creature that originated as an internet meme. He has quickly evolved into much more and has his own video game and movie to come. This costume is entirely homemade. My husband went to a thrift store and got 2 sets of suit tops and pants and I sewed them together to create the length. He found a scary hanging Halloween pumpkin creature and cut off his arms to use as hands and spray painted them white. He got a white nylon body suit to wear under the suit and am standing on stilts for height. Overall, the costume cost about $200. It was a lot of work but very well worth it based on the responses we have gotten. People are totally creeped out. And that, my friends, is the ultimate goal for Halloween! Slender Man will be waiting for you in the woods...
