This homemade costume for girls entered our 2016 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Karen, the 'Southern Belle and Southern Gentleman' costume creator:
No modifications to the southern belle costume except to add a parisol. For the dog, I had to buy a men's costume and modify it since it's so hard to find costumes for big dogs. I ripped the seam and sewed the arms to the front of the jacket to make it look right. When I saw the costume I bought her, it gave me the idea to do their costumes together as a couple.
Caroline is the southern Belle and Winston is the southern Gentleman. I am their mother.
