A word from Rita, the 'Spooky Fork' costume creator:
Sonja originally wanted to be a princess for halloween, but two weeks ago she changed her mind and said she wanted to be a "spooky fork" i reminded her about her princess choice and waited. I asked her again the week of halloween and she was determined to be a spooky fork. I spray painted a hand me down 2 piece pink sweater set in metallic silver krylon paint. Hot glued felt bats to the pants and cut of the ring part of plastic spider rings and hot glued them to the top. For the mask i used one silver glitter adhesive foam piece and one plain black foam piece. I cut the shape of a fork out, glued pospsicle sticks to the black foam, peeled the adhesive off the silver piece and placed it over the popsicle sticks sandwiching them between the two foam pieces. Stapled elastic on the edges to go around her head. Painted her face grey and put cobweb material around her crown with fake spiders.
