This homemade costume for kids entered our 2019 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Angel, the 'Springtrap' costume creator:
I am Angel Contreras and I am 15 and I am wearing the costume in these photos. The idea came from my original Springtrap costume back in 2017 and I decided to revamp the whole thing. I wanted to make everything so much bette and so much more detailed than the original. The new mask has a jaw that opens up to reveal a corpse inside. It also has eyelids that work manually by pressing buttons connected to an arduino uno. The eyes are able to glow and the whole mask was constructed of foam and faux fur. Real metal was used for the feet in this project to make the feet sound metallic when taking steps. I hope you enjoyed the costume and have a nice day.
