This homemade costume for girls entered our 2018 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Tina, the 'Star Butterfly' costume creator:
My 6 yo girl loves the Disney cartoon Star vs the forces of evil and would like to be Star butterfly this year, so I hand made her the dress, the hair band, the purse (she helped a bit of sewing by hand), the boot covers, and the last- lighted plush wand. I chose satin for dress as it shines a bit, PVC fabric for boot covers, and felt as Star purse so she could help sewing. She didn’t want to wear gold color wig tho but I thought she looked very cute in her own hair color. I really enjoyed making costumes for my kids!
