Star Wars Jawa Costume

Our family has been creating homemade Halloween costumes since the 1980s. It’s been a cherished tradition that we look forward to every year. This year, with the highly anticipated release of the new Star Wars movie, our son Avery Williams decided to be a Jawa character. Avery is a huge fan of the movies and the perfect size to make the costume come to life. The robe and hood were hand stitched by Avery’s grandma. Avery’s dad wired the electronics that control the eyes and programed a sound card and speaker so that Avery could make authentic Jawa sounds with the push of a button. Avery was a huge hit this Halloween with fellow trick-or-treaters wanting to take his picture and asking him to stop by a Star Wars fan’s house.
