A word from Jeffrey, the 'Star Wars Snowspeeder' costume creator:
My son Conor is dressed up as a Star Wars X-wing fighter pilot. The idea came from a you tube that I saw about a guy who made a snow speeder and raced it down a snowy hill on a sled. So I decided that was my next build. The build is made out of cardboard boxes and cardboard rolls. It has a total of 9 pieces that can be taken apart and put back together using Velcro. 3 cans of gray paint, 1 cans of white paint and 2 cans of black primer ,( bought the paints at Walmart ) 1 can of red paint , 1 roll of clear tape ( I had them already in the garage), 1 Box of Velcro Stip ( bought at Lowe's ). The boxes used got them free at work. Except for 2 boxes that I repurposed that came from Dominoes Pizza. And the main piece is 1 Little Tikes baby push car where you put your build on top of it. Total cost about $20.
