Stormtrooper Costume

This is myself wearing the costume. I've always wanted to dress up as a movie accurate stormtrooper ever since I saw them at Motor City Comicon years ago. I am a huge Star Wars fan and was able to "troop" for the first time this year at Motor City Comicon. The reaction from the kids and even adults was amazing. I probably posed for pictures for 6 straight hours at the event. It was definitely worth the time and effort. I spent around 50-60 hours completing this costume. It is accurate to the first Star Wars film in almost every way. I sourced different parts and kits from across the world and built most of the parts myself. A few of the harder parts were bought and purchased from dedicated prop makers who have access to original and/or replicas of the movie props.
