Starchild Costume

This is Pete, our silver lab. Now, for his costume we wanted to go over-the-top: Pete was diagnosed with cancer and may not have another Halloween. We picked out kids costumes from the Goodwill store, and with some careful cutting, sewing, elastic, velcro and some other costume props, we had a KISS Starchild. I was lucky that Pete has a deep chest, similar to a kindergartener, so all I needed to do was cut out more room for his arms and neck, and cut the back so it would not be in the danger zone. I used non-toxic kids face paint for his face - I would only recommend this for dogs that have learned "leave it" because he thought it was a snack the whole time.
