This homemade costume for families entered our 2019 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Allison, the 'Starlord and Baby Groot' costume creator:
Colin (dad) and Harrison (3 months) went as Starlord and Baby Groot in a pot. For Starlord, we used boot covers from a pirate costume, owned pants, and spray painted an old jacket red. We purchased the t-shirt (cost ~$20-30) and found old style headphones. Blasters were made with toy guns, spray paint, and duct tape holsters. Baby groot hat was made using a baby knit hat with felt hot glued to it. Harrison wore brown pajamas and a brown sleep sack with felt hot glued and a pinned on felt flower pot.
