This homemade costume for women entered our 2013 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Kimberly, the 'Strawberry Shortcake' costume creator:
I created this costume as a inspiration from my childhood 20 + years ago. I pulled a doll out of storage for an example and created a costume out of satin and linen with eyelet trim. Strawberry iron on patches as well as matching hat. I went the extra step to include Custard the Cat on the strawberry purse. My total cost was $40. I wore it to work and then out trick or treating. Apparently Strawberry Shortcake is still in due to the fact little girls wanted to take pictures with me. Too cute and berrylicious!
