A word from Gina, the 'Subzero Elsa' costume creator:
I have always been into crossover costumes, or fusing two completely different fictional worlds together to come up with something unique. I decided to make this Subzero-Elsa costume based off of fanart of the two characters together! This costume has also been called, "Frost," as it resembles the female fighter from the Mortal Kombat series. I made this costume mostly out of EVA foam! The swords are made out of clear Pet-g and worbla which are thermoplastics you can heat down to mold or shape into a certait design. This whole costume lights up too! I used clear packing foam as the inner-layers over copper micro lights for the swords, then hot glued the micro lights into the fur around the costume. The details on the armor were all hand-detailed with apoxie sculpt. The wig was purchased on Amazon and styled with heat and hairspray! The mask is also foam. For all of the foam I used 5 layers plasti-dip with two layers of mod podge to harden it up before it was finished off with acrylic paint. The costume took me about a month and a half to create, with a total of over 70 hours of hard labor and love.
