Super Mario Brothers Costume

My boys hated their dog costumes last year so I knew I had to do something that was more comfortable for them. I also wanted to do something that would allow baby wearing that made sense in case my boys didn't want to walk. I found their overalls at Old Navy and their long-sleeve shirts at primary.com. The hats I found on Amazon. I could only find adult sized hats so I sewed them on their winter hats so they would fit and be warm. Yoshi was made from an old green dress. The white piece on the front is hot glued on and the tail on the back is sewed on. Toads hat is made from an old bike helmet. grocery sacks fill the top to give it shape. A stuffed tube sock is used around the base. The red dots are cut out of reusable bags. The red belt is a disposable dollar store table cloth. The yellow stripe was hand sewn on to an old blue vest. The white pants are old baseball pants.
