The ULTIMATE Superhero-Sidekick-Villain Trio Costume

This year, we decided to beat out last year's inflatable Halloween costumes, so we decided to build our own supersuits.
Ethan, the superhero, chose blue and yellow as his color theme. He built a functional supersuit that shoots water from his hands, just like a superhero. He connected a fish tank to a water pump via water tubes, connected to a complex electrical circuit all powered by a 12 volt, 3 ampere battery pack. Ethan wears blue and white striped socks, yellow tights, blue long sleeve supershirt, blue superglue, a yellow cape, allow fedora, and a blue mask. He wears this below the supersuit.
For Caetano, the supervillain, he chose red and black as his theme. He built a box to hold a powerful bubble machine out of wood. He used spray paint for the colors on it, and PVC pipe for the handles. He built the staff out of wood, and it is able to fold in and out with hinges, and working multicolored lights are scattered throughout the suit. For his costume, Caetano wore black pants with a red villain shirt, a black evil trench coat, a pair of black gloves, and a scary evil helmet. Caetano's supersuit is placed below his coat.
For both supersuits, there are buckle straps to hold the supersuits on us.
For the sidekick, he is Ethan's sidekick. His costume is an all black trainee suit with a blue shoulder cape and a helmet that shoots water out. He uses a mallet as a tool to assist Ethan.
For everything we designed and built, we did not use the internet or any external ideas. We started off with our own blueprints, and went shopping at hardware stores throughout multiple months.
Together, we spent about $500 on costumes and supersuits.
